Michael Duffy, President

They also require properly structured loans to get positioned to be able to move into the financing mainstream provided by traditional financial institutions.  Michael’s goal is to provide that financial help through iFund Lending.

Andrew Bennett, Loan Advisory Board Member

Andrew held various senior positions with financial institutions until 1990 - when many financial companies, including his employer, were downsizing. Faced with the prospect of an unstable employment market, Andrew decided to create his own company and Nexus Investment Corporation was born. With over 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Andrew is still the President of Nexus Investment Corporation and holds C.R.F and F.R.I designations with the Real Estate Institute of Canada and the RI(BC) designation from the Real Estate Institute of BC.

As a respected leader and relationship builder; Andrew brings his talents in mortgage underwriting to the Loan Advisory Board of iFund Lending assuring that their loan transactions not only fund growth in the entrepreneurial arena but are also sound deals for the company. Andrew’s company Nexus is distinguished in Western Canada as a significant commercial and CMHC-insured underwriter in Canada with the distinction of being an approved correspondent with CMHC for commercial deals.

Andrew believes that funding entrepreneurial growth lies in dealing with client challenges head-on from the start of the client relationship, and finding them a mortgage that makes sense for their needs. This philosophy coupled with a wealth of expertise has allowed him to build strong, lasting relationships based on experience and trust.
